Treasure Hunt
In the footsteps’ of Tamerlan

1 Day:

All participants are divided into 4 teams (East, West, North, South); each of them is divided into two. During the day teams collect necessary information with regards to the architectural monuments and history of Samarkand and with regards to the following day.

Teams follow a certain route in the center of the town, fulfilling tasks and solving puzzles and finally getting information packages. All money and cellphones are to be left in the hotel or a designated place. All valuables are to be secured and supervised.

Route 1

1. Mausoleum Rukhobat - Answer the questions and solve the puzzle.

2. Chaikhana - Tea with sweets

3. Museum - Answer the questions and solve the puzzle.

4. Usto’s workshop – making group Harem of local clay and fabric

5. Bibi-Khanym mosque – Answer the questions and solve the puzzle

6. Bazaar – Selling and buying of goods

7. Visit of an Uzbek family – light lunch

8. Shahi-Zinda complex – Answer the questions and solve the puzzle

9. Khazrat-Khyzr Mosque – Answer the questions and solve the puzzle

10. Arrest of participants and their delivery to Wine tasting Hall

During the whole day teams are followed by “invisible men”, responsible for the security of the group, helping them out from any unforeseeable circumstances.

2 day:

Road book instructions
Departure from the hotel and search for a bus (4 buses) in a certain place (according to the information got on the previous day): a coach will accompany each team.
Teams follow the road book and fulfill different tasks: orientation, team-building tasks. On the route teams will get pieces of a map with a place of the hidden treasure.
Teams will find a chest with the information of the real whereabouts of the treasure which is in the dessert; they will be given information for the following day as well.

Team building training

3 day :

Participants will be set tasks for a theatrical training and departure from the hotel by buses.
Construction of Yurts (each team is building up its own yurt);

Information regarding the whereabouts of the treasure. Those who are not involved in yurt construction will be helping with the cooking.

18.00 – 18.30 – Search for the treasure*

* The treasure will consist of two chests. The treasure in the upper chest should be a compass made of 4 separate parts which could be fixed together. There should be a part of it where all the names will be inscribed. The treasure in the second chest will be Uzbek cognac.
