Join this journey to the disappearing Aral Sea with this overnight tour. Leaving from Nukus, travel through rocky deserts, dried seas, and medieval towns before arriving at the Ustyurt Plateau. Spend the night in a cozy and conventional Karakalpak yurt. As the sun rises over the Aral Sea in the morning, take in the breathtaking scenery.

      What to bring

        Uzbekistan has a dry continental climate, with very cold winters and extremely hot summers. Sunscreen and a hat are essential during the summer months. As winter approaches (late October to late March), be sure to bring extra warm clothing. For this trip please have comfortable clothes and shoes.
